The Office of Residence Life at Neumann University is committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive living environment that nurtures the holistic development of our students. Grounded in our Catholic Franciscan Tradition, the mission of Residence Life is to create transformative residential communities that inspire personal growth, promote intellectual curiosity, cultivate spiritual formation, and support student thriving.
Neumann University offers traditional-style, suite-style, and apartment-style residential communities housing more than 725 undergraduate students in 10 residential communities on campus.

- Enhanced Community: On-campus living fosters a strong sense of community among students, providing opportunities to build lifelong friendships and engage in a variety of social and cultural activities. Resident Assistants and Residence Hall Council host events for students to connect with each, such as over coffee and donuts with the Mission & Ministry team or at our annual Eagles v. Cowboys game watch party.
- Academic Support: Research indicates that residential students are retained at a higher rate and more likely to reach timely graduation than their commuter student counterparts. Residential living provides students easy accessibility to academic services such as tutoring, study groups, faculty office hours, and even events in the residence halls.
- Convenient Access: Living on campus allows students to easily access campus facilities, many of which are less than a 5-minute walk from the residence halls, including the library, gym, dining facilities, Sora Luna Lounge, athletic facilities, and more!
- Safety & Security: The Student Affairs team, in collaboration with Campus Safety, has a 24/7 emergency on-call rotation to support students while living on campus. In addition, residential communities have a 30 residents-to-Resident Assistant ratio. Each residential community also has a Hall Director supporting no more than 250 residential students at a time.
