The transition from high school to university life can be challenging. The social work peer mentoring program provides opportunities for freshmen Social Work majors to receive support and guidance from experienced social work students.
New students entering the Social Work major are paired with an upperclassman. The structured mentoring relationship requires a commitment of one academic year, active through the fall and spring semester. Mentors arrange to meet bi-weekly with their designated mentee to share experiences, offer advice, identify resources, and provide support
