Businesses of all sizes and in all industries need to protect themselves from increasingly dangerous cyberattacks. The Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Neumann University will prepare you with the real-world skills and expertise to become an indispensable member of a cybersecurity team.
Our fully online program is perfect for professionals who wish to earn their master’s degree in cybersecurity while working. You can complete your cybersecurity degree in as little as 21 months with minimal disruption to your job or other responsibilities. Though this master’s degree in cybersecurity is online, you’ll still benefit from Neumann’s professional-grade facilities through hands-on training in cybersecurity techniques via hacking lab simulations.
Upon completion of your cybersecurity degree, you’ll have the knowledge necessary to earn in-demand certifications in cybersecurity, including the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certifications.
You can choose from two available tracks for this degree: Managing Information Systems Security and Cyber System Engineering. Learn how to secure large-scale information system, or delve into the advanced techniques used to fight modern cybercrime.

The program requires ten courses for a total of 30 credits, including six foundational courses and four specialized courses. The goal is for students to be able to complete the program in 21 months.
The MS in Cybersecurity program offers two different tracks for students: Managing Information Systems Security and Cyber System Engineering. Both tracks require 30 units of coursework, comprising 18 units of the Foundational Core and 12 units in each specialization.

Track 2 – Cyber System Engineering

Six of these are foundational courses in cybersecurity advanced principles, such as network security, incident response, cyberlaw, and more. The remaining four courses are related to your concentration and cover more in-depth topics, including cyberterrorism or cybercrime investigation. You’ll round out your cybersecurity degree with a capstone project.
This cybersecurity degree prepares you for a number of exams for certifications in cybersecurity. You’ll have the opportunity to sit for the CEH, SSCP, and CISM exams. (Note: CISM certification also requires at least three years of relevant professional experience.)
