• Publicity and Promotion: Work with the Director to develop a creative and sustainable student engagement strategy. Manage the Center’s social media presence (e.g., Instagram) and website content, and promote the Knight Career Network (Symplicity) to increase student engagement.
• Student Engagement: Lead initiatives like the First Year INT program to introduce career development services to new students. Develop and implement workshops, events, and presentations on career-related topics.
• Internship Program Support: Approve internships for credit and manage the internship cycle. Track student appointments, engagement, and technology usage.
• Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise student Career Ambassadors (work-study students).
• Administrative Tasks: Track office metrics, appointments, and engagement levels. Assist the Director with various administrative duties to ensure smooth operations of the department.
• University Mission: Promote and embody the Catholic Franciscan values in all student and community interactions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in career counseling, student development, or a related field preferred. A combination of a bachelor's degree and relevant experience is acceptable.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a university career center or equivalent experience in career counseling or internship programs.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and leveraging technology to enhance career development services.

The TRIO/Student Support Services Program at Neumann University is currently seeking qualified applicants to tutor in the any of the following areas: reading/literacy (effective collegiate reading/study skills), business statistics, accounting, chemistry, biology, and anatomy & physiology. Responsibilities include: assisting students one-on-one in weekly scheduled appointments (in-person or virtual); identifying essential information; clarifying course content; supporting students in the development of appropriate research and study strategies; maintaining and submitting weekly electronic reports of services provided; reporting information about student progress to the TRIO director and coordinator.

Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree and experience working with diverse student populations; fine-tuned interpersonal and organizational skills; computer literacy; and work a flexible schedule.
