After completing her undergraduate degree in sports marketing from St. Joseph’s University, Ashley Reinholt began working for a major Philadelphia sports team. Being the consummate learner that she is, Ashley wanted to continue on for her master’s degree in the field. She found the Neumann Sport and Entertainment MS program to be a perfect fit.
“It’s a master’s of science program, and I really wanted to make sure I was getting the business side as well. It was a great course set-up too,” she said.
According to Ashley, the entire Neumann program was stellar, but it was the professors who gave tremendous credibility to the program.
“The teachers work for their students. The curriculum is great and the schedule was a huge attraction. The professors were very knowledgeable about what they were teaching. They live it, not just reading from a book. It was good to hear from industry professionals,” said Ashley.
Ashley’s advanced degree has helped with her job in the sports field.
“Anytime you invest in yourself it’s a good message to the company you work for. It gave me a well rounded sense of sports. I had sports law, facilities, and even had some ethics [courses]. It was a great diverse experience,” she explained.
