Neumann University offers its day schedule students the option of pursuing,
in conjunction with their chosen major program of study, a number of selected
academic minors. Academic minors are designed to serve those students
who wish to develop intellectual range and depth by engaging in systematic
study within more than one academic discipline. Such a combined approach
makes it possible for students to acquire intellectual versatility as
well as an increased marketability which proves to be a decided advantage
in todays rapidly changing work environment.
A student interested in pursuing an academic minor should consult with
his/her academic advisor. Awarding of any minor requires a cumulative
GPA of at least 2.00 and the approval of the respective Division Dean. Minors are available only in the Monday through Friday day schedule. Academic minors are not available in any evening major or in any of the accelerated baccalaureate degree programs that are offered through the Division of Continuing Adult and Professional Studies.
