The registration schedule is printed below with additional information that you will need to know prior to registering for classes.† Students who do not receive Business Office clearance can still meet with their academic advisor but will not be allowed to register until their account issues have been resolved and their financial hold has been removed.

*Only those athletes who have been verified by the Director of Athletics and coded in DATATEL as being eligible to participate in either Winter and/or Spring competition will be able to participate in priority athlete registration.† If an attempted registration is blocked by DATATEL, the studentís academic advisor is urged to contact either the Director of Athletics [Ext. 4711] or the Directorís Administrative Assistant [Ext. 4716].
**A disability that has been documented is one that has been declared to Neumann University by providing the Disabilities Services Coordinator of the Academic Resource Center (ARC) with current documentation of the disability by a recognized authority and as defined in both the current Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs.†
As a preparation for registration, all students are urged to check with the Business Office as soon as possible to make certain that all accounts have been paid-in-full.† After Business Office clearance has been checked, students should begin to contact their advisors and arrange for a time to meet and plan for next semesterís coursework. †
There are also several items about which everyone should be aware.
ō All requested information on the Registration Form must be completed, wherever applicable, and signed by both the student and the advisor.† All students are required to indicate on their Registration Form whether their respective academic major/program is Day, Evening, or Weekend, e.g., Nursing (Evening).† In addition, all courses should be listed in ALPHABETICAL order.
†† NOTE:††† IF IT BECOMES NECESSARY FOR SOMEONE OTHER THAN THE STUDENT'S ADVISOR TO SIGN THE REGISTRATION FORM, THAT INDIVIDUAL MUST INDICATE FOR WHOM HE/SHE IS SIGNING.
ō If either a studentís permanent/billing/local address or phone number has changed, †please check the appropriate box on the Registration Form. †If an academic program has changed, please insert an asterisk (*) before the program name.
ō Please be certain to check for course prerequisites and time conflicts as Spring schedules are prepared.
ō For on-line courses, students must have a current Neumann University e-mail address.
ō Certain courses, such as those in Education and Nursing, as well as PSYCH 225, Early Childhood Development, require that a current FBI Fingerprint Clearance, a Pennsylvania Criminal Background Clearance, and/or a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance must be applied for, obtained, and presented to your Dean.† Applications for these clearances are available through the appropriate Deanís office.† Students should be aware that the processing of these documents and receipt of appropriate clearances usually takes approximately 4-6 weeks to complete.
ō Students can only register for a Co-Op when all contractual details have been finalized and signed by the appropriate individuals, including the signature of the Director of Cooperative Education.† For those students who have not yet reached this stage but who intend to pursue the Co-Op option, please be advised that your Co-Op registration will be delayed until the above stipulations are met.
Any changes to a studentís schedule, including a change from one section to another, must be recorded on a Drop/Add Form.† The advisor must enter the information into DATATEL, sign and date the Drop/Add form, and forward the form to the Registrarís Office prior to the official end of the Drop/Add Period:†
Wednesday, January 21, 2015.
We anticipate that these revised procedures will continue to result in a more expedited registration process, and we thank all of you for your cooperation and assistance in realizing that goal.
