“Nursing is something that has always interested me. I like that you can really bond with a patient and I think learning about the human body is fascinating,” said Semhar Samuel, a sophomore nursing student.
“I chose Neumann because I had heard such great things about its nursing program. It’s tough, but that will make me more prepared in the long run,” she said. Semhar hopes to be a pediatric nurse in Philadelphia after graduation.
Now a commuter student after living on campus her freshman year, Semhar doesn't think that changes her experience, “Neumann allows residents and commuters equal opportunities,” she explained.
She appreciates having teachers and staff who are supportive. “They keep telling me I can reach my goals; they push you to achieve.”
