Dan Rowe, a junior, criminal justice major from Pilesgrove, NJ, was inspired by his police officer grandfather to pursue a career with the New Jersey State Police.
“I love working with people, and I enjoy helping them when they need assistance. That’s why I wanted to go into law enforcement,” he explained.
Dan was searching for a small college with a strong criminal justice program when he found Neumann.
Since coming to Neumann, Dan has involved himself in many activities. He is a resident advisor and plays intramural sports. He volunteers at St. Francis Inn in Philadelphia, serving meals to the homeless. In addition, he is in the process of becoming a Catholic through Neumann’s RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program. “I had lost my faith, but coming here changed me. I found better faith in God through the Catholic religion.
I felt overwhelmed that this was the right thing to do. I wanted to learn more about Christ.”
