Center Stage Productions will present the hit Broadway musical Little Shop of Horrors on August 9, 10, 11, and 12 at Neumann University.
The story follows Seymour, a poor and depressed florist who becomes the pride of the city overnight when he discovers a rare plant that craves fresh blood. As Audrey II, the carnivorous plant, grows in size, her attitude and temper grow just as quickly, dominating Seymour’s life and plotting world domination.
One of the longest running Off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of the 1950s sci-fi movies has become a household name. Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with a full tongue-in-cheek flare, Little Shop of Horrors never fails to entertain people of all ages. The plant comes to life this summer on the Neumann stage.
Performances run August 9, 10, and 11 at 8 pm and August 12 at 2 pm. General admission is $15, college students with ID $12, children/students under 18 years $10, and seniors $12. For ticket information, please contact Nicholas DiMarino at 610-558-5626.
