Neumann University will host the 24th annual Brendan P. Kelly ’87 Memorial Weekend February 2-3. The weekend will include alumni basketball games, Taste of Philly lunch and Spirit Day celebration, and men’s and women’s basketball games. All proceeds will benefit the Brendan P. Kelly ’87 Memorial Scholarship, established in 1990 in memory of Brendan P. Kelly, Class of 1987.


Saturday, February 2, will begin with a women’s alumni vs. women’s alumni game at 9:30 a.m., followed by a men’s alumni vs. men’s alumni game at 11:00 a.m. both in the Mirenda Center for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development.

The Taste of Philly Lunch and Spirit Day Celebration will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the Bayada Atrium in the Mirenda Center. Lunch will be followed by the women’s basketball team vs. Cairn University at 1 p.m., the men’s team vs. Keystone College and the Brendan P. Kelly ’87 Mass at 4 p.m. in the Assisi Room in the Bachmann Main Building.

The Brendan P. Kelly ’87 Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate leadership, participate in meaningful extracurricular activities, and understand commitment. The scholarship is actively supported by the Brendan P. Kelly ’87 committee, his family, and friends.
