Four members of the university faculty were recognized at the April 29 Academic Awards Convocation:
Suzanne Mayer, IHM, Ph.D., a professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling, received the Faculty Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching.
William J. Hamilton, Ph.D., an assistant professor of English, was presented the Faculty Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.
Kathleen Conn, Ph.D., assistant professor of Education, won the Faculty Award for Growth in Scholarship.
Stephen Gerber, Ed.D., a lecturer in Continuing Adult and Professional Studies, received the Part-Time Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Those who won awards for excellence in teaching were nominated by students and selected by their faculty colleagues.
Maria Traub, DML, president of the Faculty Senate, and Gerard O'Sullivan, vice president for academic affairs presented the awards.
